I invent words
To help students learn the sounds, I use these cards.
Sounds are in yellow, pink vowels and consonants in blue.
I ask the children to name the sound of each card before you start (b bé not said but bbbbb). Then I put the vowels with the consonants. I can then
use sounds in yellow.
I also give a copy of the game to each of my students in the first cycle lower. Thus, it can be practiced at home.
When the child knows enough of his sound, I play "I invent words. The goal is to pick a consonant with a yellow or blue card. It may dip more, but I start small at first. The student must read what is written and invent a definition for the word.
is a game that children appreciate.
